Because of the pitiful situation which has
occurred, the local church will pray only for those deceased from Beniparrell
whose families demonstrate their iterest for them before the Church.
This
announcement appeared these
days in the window of the local church in Beniparrell, Valencia, Spain. It
considers the deceased peoples’ family members who haven´t paid for the
services of maintenance and moreover, their debts have been publically exposed
before in form of a little paper sheet put by the local priest in each grave
that corresponds.
Maybe to expose the
debt of a family publically can help to keep the cemetery well maintained and
that was really the point, but it´s a little weird that the church doesn´t have
money to keep it itself if one can´t pay anymore for any reason. But it happens
all the times – you don´t pay for your grave, we won´t maintain it, and that´s
it. But here there is one difference – they have been repairing whole cemetery
(like fences, paths and so on). But what? Do I have to pay for something apart
from paying my grave? Because these maintenance works normally are included in
what you are paying annually for your grave.
And some of the
neighbours have already expressed their doubts about the destination of their money.
So first, we have
possible illegal demand of the money; then second, if there´s no illegal demand
and the money is gathered, there´s a possibility of not using the money in a
proper way; and third there´s that “thread” of not praying for the deceased –
what this does really mean?
From what I described
above follow what is a real purpose of the Church – this is one mere example,
but there are thousands of another ones. To be right member of the Church, you have
to follow these steps: first – to gather money; second – to gather money in any
dirty way you know; third – to use the money as a mean of manipulate people. It
is simple and the people will do anything for you because they believe what you
are saying.
So the Church maintain
the business and in this described case its member just tries to demonstrate
this mixing up of business and divinity which has been put to practice for
ages! There was a TV program yesterday talking about that and one of the
speakers was shocked by this mixing of business and divinity – but this has
been happening ever since! Let´s just remember what you obtain for your all
life faith (which of course includes financial support of your favourite
organization).
In sum, give us your life
savings or we won’t pray for you when you’ re dead, you bastard!!
